| Chris specializes in providing assurance and consulting services to Dansa & D’Arata’s middle-market corporate clients. His experience is primarily focused on providing attest services to clientele in a wide variety of industries, including: manufacturing; wholesale/retail; hospitality; construction; software development; not-for-profit; governmental; healthcare and others.
Chris also had significant tenure with two national accounting firms in Rochester, New York where his experience was focused on providing attest services to both publicly-traded and closely-held middle-market clients.
Selected experiences:
• Supervised and performed audits of a consolidated group of automobile dealerships with revenues of approximately $280 million.
• Supervised audit and review engagements of various homebuilder and real estate developers and assisted them with bonding and financing requirements.
• Directed a due diligence team related to a $25 million acquisition in which the purchase price was significantly reduced as a result of related audit adjustments.
• Managed various agreed-upon procedures associated with numerous litigation support engagements, including fraud examinations and internal control studies.
• Performed accounting and assurance services to a variety of governmental and not-for-profit entities with support ranging from $50,000 to over $25 million.
• Assisted in the planning of various corporate restructurings.
• Supervised and performed audits of Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustees as directed by the U.S. Department of Justice.
• Participated in cost segregation studies on various apartment complexes, car dealerships and hotels, resulting in significant tax savings to related clients.
• Executed operational audits of various clients resulting in recommendations designed to increase operational and administrative efficiencies.
• Assisted clients in obtaining bank financing through the preparation of business plans and cash flow projections.
• Managed various outsourced internal audit projects.
