Tax Manager | Audit Manager
TAX MANAGER Dansa and D'Arata LLP is a leading regional public accounting firm in the Western New York area, providing a wide variety of financial services to a
diversified, prestigious clientele specializing in audit, compliance, estate planning, consulting and litigation support services. We are currently seeking an experienced and diversified Tax Manager to join
our team! Summary: The Tax Manager responsibilities will include a full array of tax services in the areas of individual, partnership, corporate, trusts, estates and not-for-profit organizations and
consulting to high net worth entrepreneurs, businesses and family groups. Industries include real estate, investment companies, professional service companies, hi-tech, wineries, manufacturing, distribution
and not-for-profit organizations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting experience
- Must hold a Bachelors in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Must be highly motivated
- Must possess strong organization, communication and analytical skills
- Possess effective leadership, supervisory and management skills
- Display excellent time management skills
- Be able to build & cultivate strong personal relationships with peers in firm and the business community
- Is an effective team builder & leader
- Displays excellent business skills and appropriate industry knowledge
- Ability to work both independently & within a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and maintain positive client satisfaction
- Seek opportunities to be creative and innovative in serving clients
- Work closely with engagement partner and staff
- Create budgets for each client project
- Develop new client contacts and relationships beneficial to the firm
- Keep current on applicable professional standards
- Responsible for accurate & timely monthly client billings
- Assist in firm administrative functions as assigned by the partners
- Understand Dansa and D'Arata full services and industry capabilities
- Investigate compliance & research software
- Act as a role model and mentor new and existing staff
- Takes a sincere interest in personal career growth & development
- Participate in firm events (internal, recruiting, philanthropic, etc.)
- Participate in civic, business, community, and philanthropic activities

AUDIT MANAGER We are a leading regional public accounting firm in the Western New York area, providing a wide variety of financial services to diversified,
prestigious clientele. We specialize in audit, compliance, estate planning, consulting and litigation support services. We are currently looking to hire an Audit Manager to join our team!
Summary:
The Audit Manager will be responsible for conducting full-cycle audits for our clients in a variety of industries including real estate, finance/banking, not-for-profit, etc. The Audit Manager will oversee
all responsibilities of its staff while meeting the project deliverables to provide the highest level of client service. This individual will also be expected to demonstrate industry experience, leverage
client relationships, promote new business opportunities and be responsible for the professional development of staff. The Audit Manager will have frequent interaction with partners and staff and is an
integral member of the firm's management team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 5 years of public accounting experience in a professional services firm (Big 4 experience a plus).
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
- Must be a licensed CPA
- Must have experience working with privately held companies and non-profit organizations
- Must have experience in conducting retirement planning
- Strong technical knowledge
- Must have previous supervisory experience
- Must be committed to best practices of the firm
- Must have excellent project and time management skills
- Must be extremely detail-oriented
- Must be able to be flexible in a variety of situations and be a team-player
